Littleton Reporter is committed to accuracy and transparency. When factual errors are identified, appropriate steps will be taken to correct the public record.
1. Corrections
If a factual error is confirmed, Littleton Reporter will update the published material as soon as reasonably possible. Corrections may include:
(a) updating inaccurate information
(b) clarifying ambiguous statements
(c) correcting typographical errors that alter meaning
Where appropriate, a correction note may be added to the article.
2. Clarifications
In some cases, additional context or explanation may be required rather than a formal correction. Clarifications may be issued when:
(a) wording may have caused confusion
(b) additional information becomes available
(c) context is necessary to prevent misunderstanding
3. Retractions
Retractions are rare and may occur only when a significant factual error undermines the reliability of an entire article. If a retraction is necessary, Littleton Reporter may:
(a) remove the article
(b) replace the article with a retraction notice
(c) publish a clarification explaining the issue
4. Requests for Correction
Individuals who believe a factual error exists may submit a correction request. Requests should include:
(a) the article title or link
(b) the information believed to be inaccurate
(c) supporting information or documentation if available

Submission of a request does not guarantee that a correction or retraction will be issued.
Editorial decisions regarding corrections remain the responsibility of Littleton Reporter.
